Hamedorea (Chamaedorea) is a species of palm trees of the Arecaceae family, or Palm trees (Palmae). The name comes from two Greek words chamai - low and dorea - gift, gift. The thing is that the fruits of these palms hang down almost to the ground, and the plant itself is not tall. In nature, they grow up to 2 m in height, and in indoor conditions - 1.20-1.50 m.

The chamedorea palm prefers diffused light. The optimal location is near the east or west window. The palm tree cannot stand direct sunlight - the leaves can turn yellow and fall off.

Hamedorea is very fond of spraying. In summer, in hot weather, as well as in winter, in a room with central heating, the palm tree needs to be sprayed 2 times a day. In summer, the palm tree is watered - 2-3 times a week, in winter - 1-2 times. Between waterings, the top layer of the substrate should dry out, but the watering itself should be abundant.
