The medium forsythia variety (intermediate) Mini Gold is a compact, not higher than 1.7 m in an adult state, an early flowering shrub. Belongs to the Olive family. Blooms in April.

Maximum height of adult forsythia: 1.5-1.7 m. Maximum crown width: 1.2-1.5 m.

Crown shape: dense, round, with erect branches. Leaves: narrow ovoid, dark green in color, 6-10 cm long, bloom after flowering.

Flowers: bright yellow in color, 2-3 cm in diameter, bell-shaped, collected in inflorescences. Growth rate: slow growing, 5-10 cm per year. Location and care: Prefers sunny places, can grow in light partial shade. It grows better on loose, fertile, drained soils, but it is not very demanding on soils. Hardy, but young shoots are recommended to mulch and cover for the winter.

Application in landscape design: for single and group planting, creation of container gardens, low hedges, decoration of rock gardens. Looks good with conifers and shrubs.
