Cones are conical, oblong-ovate, young ones are purple, mature brownish, 2-4 cm long.
Needles: collected in bunches, 15-30 mm long. The color is bright green in spring and summer, yellow-golden in autumn. In winter, the needles crumble. Growth rate per year: mature larch - 25 cm in height and 10-15 cm in width.
Location: In an open space, not adjacent to other trees. Prefers fertile, well-drained soil, poorly develops on poor soils. Does not tolerate waterlogging. Drought-resistant.
