Belongs to the Mulberry family, the distribution area is the tropical forests of Asia, Australia and West Africa.

Ficus Benjamin Kinki is photophilous, but it is better to shade from direct sun. Prefers humid air, occasional bathing in the shower. Watering is plentiful in summer, moderate in winter, between waterings the soil should dry out by 1-2 cm.
