Swimming pool in the winter garden

Swimming pool in the winter garden

In autumn, at the time of wilting, we especially need vitamins, suns and an abundance of life-affirming greenery. But her, just, is becoming the least. But I really want to extend the summer.

A kind of exit will serve as a winter garden, which can be organized in the country or on the loggias.

In general, you can simply plant greenery - your mini-gym, your living room, kitchen - any place where you will be comfortable spending time.

It's good if your country house or dacha has some kind of annex, which you all hope to adapt to an indoor pool next year, but for now you can organize real tropics that will bring you back from summer in winter.

Perhaps, after you implement a winter garden, next summer you simply put a frame or inflatable pool (look for interesting pools at price.ua). After all, the construction of a stationary is such a hassle and big money.

Planting a loggia or making a kind of winter garden is much cheaper and more affordable.

Before you start arranging and purchasing plants, it is a good idea to understand what indoor plants are. In addition to the well-known indoor plants, there are tropical and subtropical plants.

As everyone knows from the school course, it is humid and warm in the tropics, while there are so-called light tiers. There is as much light in the downstairs as in ordinary apartments - that's what you should count on representatives of this tier. And these are mainly low representatives of the flora who love a lot of water and a fairly warm room. Therefore, if you do not plan to equip the room with a special system for maintaining humidity and temperature, then you should choose tropical plants recommended by florists.

Otherwise, chosen at random, without knowing the features of care, the plants will quickly wither away, not having enough humid air and heat. Moreover, it is very important to maintain humidity, since heating issues can be solved simply, but maintaining humidity in a large room is somewhat more difficult.

True, such well-known plants of tropical latitudes as oranges, lemons, bananas, orchids and other seemingly "capricious" inhabitants of warm regions can also feel great in a winter garden without constant condensation of water in the air. Such plants, of course, are not original from those latitudes, but adapted indoor species that have a beautiful decorative appearance and can be a real decoration of a winter greenhouse without special complex care.

Light is also very important for subtropical plants. Moreover, our usual daylight hours are not enough. Even the glass roof of the winter garden will hardly save - additional artificial lighting is needed.

But in general, tropical plants have quite a few species that can be placed in our apartments, winter gardens, which are perfectly adaptable and more resistant to the lack of some ideal conditions. The most common, favorites of many, for many years have been a variety of ficuses and palms. Of the ficuses, the most capricious, perhaps, is the dwarf one (since the ampelous form and the ficus Ali (binnendian).

For the conservatory and for landscaping the premises, choose various varieties of Benjamin's ficus, lyre, elastica, triangular, etc. Other typical inhabitants of conservatories are palm trees, yucca, dracaena and ivy with lianas. Yuccas are very unpretentious: elephant, glorious, aloe, as well as Kenti palm, monstera, all kinds of croton varieties, which are very bright and unusual. You can even try Japanese cryptomeria, thuja and even oleander.

The main thing is that your winter garden is warm and light enough. Therefore, it will be necessary to take care of the insulation of the floor and walls. If your loggias are already sufficiently insulated, then the only thing you need to do is to think about how the floor covering will tolerate regular moisture. When creating a winter garden or landscaping a balcony, loggia, be guided by the selection of a single type of plants - those that you will simply take care of, which have the same requirements for the parameters of watering, moisture, heat.
