"Renet Simirenko" apple variety originated from Platonov's farm (near the town of Mliev, Cherkasy region). discovered by the outstanding gardener L.P. Simirenko and named after his father, P.F. Simirenko. Currently, it is widely popular with gardeners in Ukraine and southern Russia. Productivity: very high, 250-400 kg / ha. At a young age, it is annual, in adults it is periodic.

Tree shape. It is a vigorous variety, growing up to 5-6 meters in height. The crown of the trees is dense, spreading, wide-round or cauldron. The apple tree blooms in mid-late periods.

The variety is self-fertile and needs pollinators. The best pollinators: varieties Idared, Korah, Golden Delishes, Kuban spur, Memory Sergeev, Antonovka ordinary, Kalvil snow.

Fruit. Begins to bear fruit 5-6 years after planting. Fruits are round-conical, unequal, green with light subcutaneous dots, with a reddish blush on the sunny side. The skin is shiny, smooth, slightly oily. Reneta apples are large, weighing 150-200 on young trees and medium-sized on old apple trees or with a bountiful harvest. The pulp is white with a slightly greenish tint, juicy, dense, aromatic, fine-grained. Fruits are picked in early October, they can be stored in the refrigerator until April-May. Consumer maturity comes in December. Taste: sweet and sour, harmonious, dessert. Ripening period: early October.

Location and landing. Sapling Renet grows best in loose, fertile, sandy loam soils, medium loamy, black soil. In order for the tree to grow well and bear fruit, you should choose a bright, not ventilated place for planting. Does not tolerate stagnant water. Winter hardiness: medium hardiness, on moist soils and in lowlands, young shoots can freeze slightly. Disease resistance: to powdery mildew and scab below average, periodic treatments are necessary.
