Crown shape: dense, round, compact. Leaves: narrow ovoid, with a sharp tip, dark green in color. Young foliage has a reddish tint, turns red-orange in autumn.

Flowers: collected in small corymbose inflorescences of pink color. Growth rate: slow-growing, 5-10 cm.

Location: grows well on fertile, drained soils, without stagnant moisture. Photophilous. Used: for group planting in compositions, creating curbs, low hedges, decorating rock gardens and rocky gardens.

Features: undersized deciduous shrub, frost-resistant.
