Justina (raspberry-strawberry)

Justina or Tibetan raspberry comes from Japan. It is valued for its exotic large berries, which look like blackberries and garden strawberries, and taste like pineapple, raspberries and blackberries.

Shape, dimensions. A small bush of rounded shape, 0.6 - 1 m high.

Bloom. Tibetan raspberry blooms in July with fragrant flowers 4-5 cm in diameter in color from white to cream.

Fruiting. The fruits are bright red, ripen in August on young shoots. The berries are large, 2-3 cm in diameter, have an unusual sweet and sour taste, and when ripe, they are easily removed from the bush.

Location and boarding. Grows well in both sun and partial shade. It does not tolerate waterlogging or waterlogging of the soil, so it is better to plant on a hill or when planting it will provide good drainage. Attention. The leaves of Justina are covered with small sharp spines, and the stems are covered with thorns. Be careful when harvesting!
