In our country, aloe is considered an indoor plant, and few people know that its true homeland is Africa, where it grows in the subtropical climate zone and is an annual, tree-like representative of the local flora.
One of the conditions for its cultivation is absolute non-cold tolerance, and the popular name in our area is agave, and you can meet it as a home flower in any home.
Aloe gained such popularity due to its unique healing qualities. The leaves of this plant contain allotonin, as well as vitamins C, E and B, which, when entering the human body, are converted into vitamin A. It contains 20 amino acids, out of 22 necessary for the normal functioning of the body.
In the course of research on the unique properties of this plant, the content in it of a complex and rare carbohydrate - acemannan was discovered, the effectiveness of which is very high in the treatment of many bacterial and viral diseases, various kinds of tumors. Also, this carbohydrate is used in the fight against HIV and AIDS.
Aloe juice is no less beneficial for humans, in addition to a large number of enzymes, it is also rich in phytoncides, and its leaves contain essential oils and resinous substances. Naturally, with such a composition, this plant is incredibly useful for the human body.
Its sap, secreted from the inside of the leaves, is an excellent moisturizer that can be used without any special treatment. Just rub into the skin. And with all sorts of injuries, burns, scratches and cuts, inflammatory processes, it perfectly relieves itching, burning and swelling, removes and prevents suppuration, and has the effect of smoothing and reducing the number of wrinkles.
For constipation, one of the best remedies is the use of Sabur - one stripped off aloe juice. It is also used for low-acid gastritis and to increase appetite, it is used in the fight against many pathogenic microbes, increases the body's immunity as a whole, helps to recover damaged surfaces, and also helps to improve metabolism.
Despite all of the above positive qualities of this plant, there are contraindications to its use.
It is worth refraining or moderately approaching its use, with exacerbations of tuberculosis, uterine bleeding and during pregnancy, hemorrhoids, with diseases of the liver, gallbladder, kidneys, bladder and cardiovascular system.
Also, due to their tonic and invigorating abilities, aloe preparations are not recommended to be taken after seven in the evening.
In the case of cancer, the use of aloe can only be due to the recommendation of the attending physician.
